What is your name and age?
My name is April Shattuck-Mickles and I am a 47-year-old cancer survivor.
What problems have you faced with your skin?
My ongoing health issues, including surgery, induced early onset menopause, frequent hot flashes, restless sleep patterns, physical effects of prescription medications, and an increased sensitivity to sun.
In addition, prior to my cancer journey, I was a sun fanatic growing up in a climate of hot summers on the water and poolside, outdoor winter snow activities, and harsh early spring winds in a region with 280 days of sun! As much as I have spent the latest 12 years protecting my skin from the sun, in recent months I have noticed age spots and an uneven, dull areas appearing on my face, neck and hands.
How has cocokind helped you and what is your favorite product?
